The Wait

I've been waiting
standing here in the rain pour
thinking about what we were
wondering when I will see you
but the future fogs up there
life is never whats expected
so I keep waiting
wishing and holding
for what seems like forever
someday is too far away
I seem to miss your face
and the smile that played there
but I'm still waiting
I'm not sure what I want
or how this life will work out
but I know you are there
and I am still standing here
who knew it would be so distant
and waiting is so hard
I keep leaning on my heart
but without you it's empty
I know you're there somewhere
but somewhere just seems like no where
why does time seem so long
when you are waiting
